Ashoka The Hero download movie 1080p torrent is an upcoming biographical film. It is based on the life of the Indian prince Ashoka, who was one of India's greatest rulers and its first Buddhist king. The movie stars Dev Patel as Ashoka and Rooney Mara as Soma, with Bill Paxton playing Chandragupta Mauryan, who survived for five years after his father's death by mastering guerrilla warfare. The announcement for this film was made on 12 April 2011. On 7 June 2011 it was announced that Rooney Mara would replace Dakota Fanning in the role of Soma; however, she would only make a brief appearance in this version before being replaced by Priyanka Chopra later in filming. The film is being directed by Kantemir Balagov. He previously directed the TV series War and Peace, a film which received a Golden Nymph award at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. It will be produced by Zee Studios Motion Pictures. On May 30, 2011 it was announced that Dev Patel would play the role of Ashoka in this movie. The makers of this film have stated that they consulted more than 100 historians, archaeologists and epigraphists from India, Japan and Europe while making this film. In September 2012 it was announced that the production had been delayed due to casting issues. According to reports Dev Patel was quoted as saying, "I think it's fair to say that I couldn't find anybody who could do justice ... We found two people who were interested in playing the king, but neither of them worked out." The screenplay for this film is co-written by Paul Beauchamp and Gunasekhar.This Film will be produced by Kamal Jain and Suresh Oberoi. This Movie will be released in India on 27 May 2015. And This film will be released in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and UK on 9 December 2015. The film is currently shooting at Taj Mahal. The locales include Orai, Lucknow, Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.
